Building the everyday foundations of wellbeing

Building the everyday foundations of wellbeing
Early intervention for children, families & communities
Mental health is more than the absence of mental illness.
Children shouldn’t have to reach crisis point before their wellbeing matters.
Through play, creativity, relationships, shared experiences and practical support, we create opportunities for children and families to feel safe, build connection, develop confidence and strengthen their ability to navigate everyday challenges.
Because mental fitness is built in ordinary moments too

Our work creates opportunities for children and families to:
We also provide targeted early support when children and families are experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, difficulties with regulation, low confidence, disengagement or family stress.

Community Access
Accessible activities and programmes creating opportunities for children and families to connect, play, learn and participate.
Targeted Early Intervention
Structured programmes, including Connected Families and Sycamore Wellbeing, offering additional support where children or families may benefit from a more focused approach.
Partnership & Commissioned Support
Programmes and interventions can be commissioned by schools, health services, local authorities, community organisations and other partners, including individual, small-group and whole-cohort provision.

Safe · Calm · Create · Connect · Grow
Everything we do is guided by our Better Together framework.
SAFE Creating environments and relationships where children feel secure, welcomed and able to take part.
CALM Helping children recognise what they need, cope with manageable stress and develop ways to regulate and recover.
CREATE Protecting space for play, imagination, curiosity, expression and enjoyable learning.
CONNECT Strengthening positive relationships, belonging and supportive networks around children and families.
GROW Creating opportunities to develop confidence, agency, resilience, problem-solving and self-worth through experience.
Different programmes may look different, but these principles run through everything we do.
