Kay Pace is the Founder and Managing Director of Family Mental Fitness North East CIC, leading the organisation’s regulation-focused early intervention and wellbeing work across schools, families and community settings.
With a background in education, SEND, therapeutic wellbeing and public-health-informed practice, Kay specialises in developing structured, relational approaches that support emotional regulation, engagement and family wellbeing.
Her work focuses on accessible early intervention that helps reduce escalation and strengthen emotional safety, connection and participation across home, school and community environments.
Kay has a professional background in education, SEND support, and family mental health, and is a Registered Member of the National Hypnotherapy Society (MHS) and a Member of the both The Royal Society for Public Health (MRSPH) and The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Her work is grounded in trauma-informed, ethical practice and aims to create accessible, compassionate support within community settings. Kay also runs a private practice in Newcastle upon Tyne, A Gentle Pace Therapy.
