Regular themed sessions for parents and carers, offering practical tools, shared experiences, and strategies that complement the support their children receive in therapy. Topics include sleep hygiene, understanding and using the Zones of Regulation, reducing social media and screen overuse, supporting sensory needs at home, and simple, budget-friendly recipes to encourage healthy eating habits.
Purpose
To equip parents with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to support their children’s emotional, sensory, and behavioural needs at home. Each session mirrors and expands on the strategies children are learning—ensuring a consistent approach between sessions and home life.
Impact
Parents gain insight into their child’s emotional world and learn adaptable tools for real-life situations, from managing meltdowns to establishing calmer bedtimes. Peer discussion fosters connection and reassurance, while hands-on activities help parents apply new ideas immediately.

Everyone leaves with a ready-to-use resource, plus a take-home summary sheet packed with ideas to try straight away.
